WHEN SOMETHING DOESN'T LOOK RIGHT

Start with
the basics.

Use your machine's manual for the exact procedure. These checks are a starting point, not repair instructions.

  1. Pause and assess

Stop for unusual smoke, flame, unexpected motion, damaged protection or a safety warning. Do not restart until the cause has been addressed. Read safety basics ↗

  2. Check the job setup

Confirm the material is approved, the correct processing mode is selected, and the focus and workpiece position match the manual. Read common setup questions ↗

  3. Record what happened

Note the error message, settings and result. If the issue remains, contact the manufacturer rather than bypassing a safety feature or opening sealed components.
